How to use the forum

Juha Thai Club is the support forum for Juha Thai Club apps and games and a place to talk about Thailand. You can post without registering or creating an account. Read the rules before posting.

Sections and languages

The discussion sections are grouped on the front page. Write in English in the 🇬🇧 sections and in Finnish in the 🇫🇮 sections. Pick the section that fits your topic best – moderators may move topics to the right place, and old links keep working.

Starting a topic and replying

Open a section and click Start a new topic. A topic needs a subject and a message.
To reply, open the topic and use the Reply to topic form at the bottom.
The name field is optional – leave it empty to post as "Anonymous".
Every post has a number (#123). Click the number to quote it in your reply, or type >>123 yourself – it is shown as a link ↪ #123. Hovering over a quote link highlights the original post.
Topics with recent replies rise to the top of the section. 📌 marks a pinned topic and 🔒 a locked one that no longer accepts replies.
Posts cannot be edited or deleted by the writer. If you need something removed, contact the moderators (see below).

Web addresses become clickable automatically. HTML is not allowed and is shown as plain text.

Images

You can attach one image per post: jpg, png or webp, max 5 MB. You can post up to 10 images per hour.
The first image from a new writer is shown after a moderator has approved it. After that, your images appear immediately.
Only post images you have the right to share, and no images that break the rules (for example sexual or violent content, or photos of identifiable people without their permission).
Location data and other metadata (EXIF, GPS, camera details) are removed automatically before the image is stored.
Click an image to enlarge it, and click again to shrink it.

Why is my post "awaiting review"?

An automatic filter checks every post. Some posts are held until a moderator approves them – for example a link or image from a first-time writer, many links in one post, a post written in ALL CAPS, or words often used in scams (such as messaging-app contact requests or visa-agent ads). This is not a punishment: the post appears once approved. Please do not post it again.

To prevent spam, you can post once every 15 seconds, up to 20 posts, 4 new topics and 10 images per hour.

Badges

[Developer] – a post by the developer of the forum and the Juha Thai Club apps.
[Editor] – a topic by the forum's editorial account, such as the question of the week.

Nobody else can get these badges, so a post with a similar name but no badge is not official.

Reporting

If a post breaks the rules, click report next to the post and tell us why. Reports are anonymous and go straight to the moderators.

Tips

Visa questions: mention your nationality, your current visa or entry stamp, where you are applying from and how long you plan to stay. Forum posts are not official advice – always check official sources too.
App and game support: post in the Apps & Games section and include the app and its version, your device and operating system, the steps that lead to the problem, and a screenshot if possible.
